
Affordable Art Fair Stockholm 2015
For the fourth year in a row, Affordable Art Fair is back at Magasin 9 in Frihamnen. 51 different galleries, with both established and up and coming artists from all over the world will be displaying everything from paintings, photos, sculptures to street art and graphics.
If you are thinking of being cultural this weekend, this art Mecka is your obvious choice. Here are some of the things you definitely shouldn`t miss. The price range extends from 500kr — 50 000 kr.
Arrivals: Arrivals offers limited edition art by emerging artists, illustrators and photographers. This gallery decided to do something about all the fantastic art just “laying around” so they gathered all the awesome art and artists they could find and started this gallery in 2010.

Painters posters: This new and unique concept is a ”flying gallery” who are representing some of the worlds superstars in the art world, such as Jim Dine, Richard Hamilton, Terry Winters, Julian Opie and amazing Natalia Edenmont.
Recent graduates: Six up and coming artists and recent graduates are showing their art at the fair. Remember where you saw them first.
Public house of art: Public House of Art is a gallery from Amsterdam that wants to make art more public. They are offering amazing photographs, sculptures and paintings. Take the opportunity to visit this gallery at the fair, if you aren’t spending time in Amsterdam every other week

As a bonus this year, Nationalmuseum and Spritmuseum will additionally offer exciting talks, for example one about Swedish artist Carl Larsson and one about selfies then and now.
Last but not least, if you get hungry or exhausted (or just cranky from a low blood sugar) don’t worry, there will be a lot of food trucks there this weekend (and also, they have a bar.)
