Met with Horace Engdahl at the ROyal Library to take his portrait for a magazine last week.
This day was strange in many ways…. My brain felt like a milkshake the whole day.
Took these of Isabelle this morning. Then i met up with Horace Engdahl at KB; Kungliga Biblioteket; The Royal Library; afterwards and took his portrait.
He is the one who used to present the Nobel Prize i literature.
Another thing about being at my grandmothers cabin in Värmland is that it kind of works like my memorial place of my mother – who passed away almost three years ago in December.
Miss her very much.
I found an incredibly awesome photo of her when I looked through some old photos from when mom and dad were real young.
I love the mysticism and feeling in this photo. She’s beautiful!
And yes thats my dad in a photostudio; posing, and looking good!
Her favorite song the years leading up to her death was “Fix You” by Coldplay; because as she said, she hoped that the doctors or a miracle could fix her…from her cancer. :(
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can’t replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Spent the weekend in my grandmothers house by a beautiful lake in the middle of Swedens woods.
I always feel like this is the place where i can really relax and allow myself to disconnect totally.
This is the first night when we just arrived. The sun was just setting behind the trees.
“I’m up in the woods, I’m down on my mind
I’m building a sill to slow down the time
I’m up in the woods, I’m down on my mind
I’m building a sill to slow down the time”
