Altewai Saome SS15 at Fashion Week Stockholm

Last year these two young fashion designers got the prestigious Designer of the Year at Elle Awards, and they certainly keeps them measure also this SS15 season.

Strong and independent with a touch of softness is what I would describe this season’s collection of Natalia Altewai and Randa Saome. The two young designers from Malmö, Sweden, but it was when they studied and worked in Italy the idea of building their own clothing line took off, so they decided to go back to Sweden and invest in their dream.

This year’s collection from Altewai Saome shows their creativity and ability to use different combinations of materials and structures. It’s tailored suits almost military inspired, which is also a recurring influence around different brands in SS15. Aswell as beautiful white fabrics, that creates strong outfits when model walks down the catwalk with black high-heel shoes and natural make-up and messy hair. And don’t forget those memory-filled Altewai details like embroidery and statement exterior pockets. This collections IS the spring of 2015 The Independent, Working Woman.
