House of Dagmar Through The Eyes Of Victoria Stillwell

Mainly inspired by the cubistic works of Pablo Picasso, House of Dagmar’s AW14 collection aims to introduce a shifted perspective, a perspective where new dimensions and angles come into focus. This is the Dagmar show from the perspective of photographer Victoria Stillwell.

This autumn, House of Dagmar explores the collage technique in multiple dimensions, through bonded materials, innovative cuts, layering, and prints. The design team has experimented with a wide range of tactile materials, such as delicate organza applications or skin toned latex, as well as asymmetric cuts, geometric patterns, and imaginative prints. The colour palette is also greatly inspired by Picasso’s cubistic art, dominated by black, white, grey, cardboard, and silver, with splashes of energetic pepper red.
