With their campaign Festival Ready, Victorinox takes a step further into the future.
Since they first began delivering knifes to the Swiss army in 1884, Victorinox has developed into a diverse supplier of everything from kitchen utilities to fashion and fragrances. With their campaign Festival Ready, the company takes a step further into the future. The campaign is made up of a collection of products and garments together with a smartphone application, all developed with the need of the festival visitor in mind.
The collection, consisting of ponchos, bags, knifes, and a tent, is designed and manufactured in collaboration with fashion designer and Victorinox Artistic Director Christopher Raeburn. The products are all made with high-technological manufacturing processes and recycled fabrics, aiming to protect their wearer as well as the environment. The multi-functional smartphone application includes a GPS system that helps you find your way around the festival area, locating your tent, the different stages, and other important spots, something every festival visitor knows can be tricky.
