Eyeshadow by Sleek • Skirt, Vintage • T-shirt, Sandra Beijer for JC
This weekend I’m pretty pissed off. Angry that I’m working working working! Where are my adventures?! So I wear my new, deadliest pink eye shadow with a leather skirt and refuse to wash my hair. ~BADDASS~
A good thing about working like an idiot was that this week my group won a 48hrs brief competition with the Swedish real estate agent Fastighetsbyrån! My first award and I’m now a proud owner of an occulus rift – whatever I’ll do with that one? I’ll probably use it like this to scare the shit out of a couple friends.
Also a huge THANK YOU ALL for completing my first ever survey! It was especially lovely going through all your comments (and for you who haven’t done it yet you can complete it here).
Helped my parents repaint their house yesterday with my sisters. It was sunny and we played music through the windows like a groovy 80s movie. LAME, but fun. Despite spring barely having arrived yet summer was everywhere and I got to premier my all white outfit with my white Levi’s cutoffs.
Funny enough I also got featured with a piece in Dazed Magazine because another living situation. It’s a piece about one of my horrendous flats in Shoreditch back in 2013 that left me scarred for life. You can read it here → Housing Horror Stories.
Yesterday I went for a first meeting with an English copywriter chick who has asked to be my mentor(!) to discuss my future lol. It ended up being mostly talk about Tinder dates and Swedish boys vs English but it was wicked. Getting somebody wise and successful to guide you through your decision is invaluable. Has any of you got experience with mentors? Would be interesting to get your point of view!
It’s Easter now and my man is here visiting for four whole days! Last night we went to a party in the basement of an old mental institution and today my baby sis is bleaching my hair whilst Daniel is helping me pick out an outfit for a shoot I’m in on Friday.
It was snowing for 36 damn hours straight this week. I have to admit that it looks pretty dreamy through my windows, but the darkness is suffocating me and I long for short sleeved nights and sticky skin on bare swimming suit backs. Plus that Daniel got me these babies for my birthday and I cannot wait to wear them! But at least they are kind of proof that there will actually be a summer once again. Believe it or not.
