The video for Karl X Johan’s latest single Never Leave Me is a an intriguing and slightly scary story set in grey tones and striking surroundings.
The Swedish duo Karl X Johan emerged in 2010 when they dropped their monumental breakthrough single Flames. Since then Kalle Jönsson and Johan Tuvesson have released more or less one single a year, working their way towards a unique blend of ethereal soundscapes and heavy dance beats. Earlier this summer they released their latest single Never Leave Me, according to the duo inspired by dancehall music, Popcaan and Vybz Kartel. This week the dreamy and somewhat Balearic song was accompanied by a surprisingly dark video. The video is an intriguing and slightly scary story set in grey tones and striking surroundings, imagined and directed by Olivia Kastebring. Watch it below.
Karl X Johan’s debut album will be released in April next year.
