Andreas Moe is in the middle of preparing for his first ever headline tour – a milestone making him feel both excited and somewhat scared. But before heading out in Europe the singer/songwriter gives us a first look at his brand new, dark heartbreak video.
Andreas Moe’s new EP titled Borderline is set for release next month. The track list includes Step Down From It, a song about building walls to protect yourself from heartbreak.
– The song’s about trying to make someone see that there’s life and hope on the other side of that wall she’s built to protect herself from love, Andreas explains.
The track has now been translated into dark visuals combining feelings of fear, desperation and loneliness with dark web, broken glass – and a bunch of paperclips! Paul Jerndal has filmed and directed the piece that Andreas describes like this:
– We wanted to create a world where you could really feel what’s going on inside the mind of someone heartbroken. We were so happy when Catrin Claeson wanted to play the girl in the video, she was perfect!
