Under the Radar: Jacob Kampp Berliner

A true entrepreneur in music, art, and fashion, Jacob Kampp Berliner is the founder of record label Fake Diamond Records, Stockholm gallery Steinsland Berliner, and Danish menswear brand Soulland. Just to name a few. Here he reveals his greatest extravagance and why he had to spend a night at a Stockholm police station.

Would like to meet…
– Obama.

Most memorable night out…
– Had many. Had a fantastic night in Buenos Aires some years ago with my friend Kina who just moved there. We partied so much that he ended up getting thrown out of his apartment, so he moved into his new girlfriends’ apartment. They now are married and have two kids. (I’m telling myself it’s all because of me.)

My greatest extravagance…
– Leaving the kid at daycare in the morning and jump back to my girlfriend and a warm bed.

In my next life…
– I will do it all over.

Wouldn’t recommend…
– Rolling a joint in front of McDonalds at Götgatan, ended up spending the night at Söder police station.

My hero…
– My friends, family, and colleagues.

Before I die…
– I will like to read all the unfinished books on my bookshelves.
