With his new album Keep Your Darkness Secret out this week, and a Scandinavian tour coming up in April and May, we made Swedish pop star Moto Boy reveal some of his inner secrets.

– My grandfather, he died before I was born and I’d love to have met him.

Most memorable night out…
– There are so many, but a couple of years ago in Tokyo I had a crazy wonderful night out with a couple of friends, I ended up in the custody of the three nicest Japanese police officers in the world.

My greatest extravagance…
– Gallons and gallons of champagne.

In my next life…
– Dolphin or dictator, can’t decide.

Wouldn’t recommend…
– Frankfurt.

My hero…
– Mom & Dad.

Before I die…
– …I need to live by a beach

– I’m a history nerd, I know all about Soviet party secretaries.

– Dolorez Haze, they’re awesome.

Boeoes Kaelstigen make beautiful techno, and I can’t get enough of Demon vs Heartbreaker’s You Are My High. And I wish I could waltz…

Laughs at…
– Eddie Izzard, he’s incredible.

Wears…
– I always rip the labels off from clothes, but I love Jan Ahlgren and Hope, and whenever it’s possible I do sunglasses.
