Ever since the release of Marlene’s brilliant debut single Bon Voyage, we’ve been eager to hear more. This week, the Swedish pop act finally unveiled her brand new single Stay Awake. Co-written with fellow pop star Ji Nilsson, the single is a cascading synth ballad, combining Marlene’s clean vocals with sleek r’n’b beats. Listen below.
Sam Smith – Money On My Mind (salute Remix)
Earlier this month, Britain’s new singer-songwriter star Sam Smith unveiled his latest single, Money On My Mind, the first take from his upcoming debut album In The Lonely Hour, due for release this May. Disclosure – F For You ft. Mary J. Blige
This week, British house duo Disclosure released a brilliant rework of their track F for You, taken from their highly acclaimed debut album Settle. Featuring vocals by r’n’b legend Mary J. Kyla La Grange – Cut Your Teeth (Kygo Remix)
Unmistakably being one of those artists who never disappoint, talented Norwegian producer Kygo keeps delivering. This week, he released his take on British singer Kyla La Grange’s Cut Your Teeth, in spirit of crossing the 100 000 milestone on Facebook. The latest in a string of brilliant remixes of artists such as Seinabo Sey, Elle Goulding, and Ed Sheeran, the track is marked by Kygo’s light and dreamy signature sound. Listen below.
